Michael Tuttle is an assistant professor in the Visual Disabilities program at Florida State University. The courses he teaches include Unified English Braille, Assistive Technology for Students with Visual Impairments, and Accommodating Students with Visual Impairments. His research focuses on the role assistive technology can play in improving students with visual impairments’ academic experiences and quality-of-life outcomes. Prior to academia, Michael worked as a teacher of students with visual impairments and an assistive technology specialist in Metro Nashville Public Schools.
