The Torch, the college's highly acclaimed alumni magazine, is a biannual publication produced to showcase our faculty, students, and alumni and the important work they are doing across the globe.

Established in 1975 by Professor Herbert Reese as a newsletter titled Education News, The Torch has evolved into a full-size, full-color biannual magazine produced by our Office of Strategic Outreach & Recruitment that communicates the vital influence our graduates have in the field of education and the important milestones they have reached in their lives. Additional information about inspiring students, faculty research and successful programs make this publication a comprehensive representation of the heart and soul of the College of Education, Health, and Human Sciences.
