Hye Ryung Won (Early Childhood Education Ph.D.) received a 2020-2021 Outstanding Teaching Assistant Award from the Program for Instructional Excellence. The annual award recognizes the best graduate student teaching assistants (TAs) for their work and dedication to their students.

Savanna Gill (FSU-Teach, mathematics education) received the Artes Award for her work at the FSU Career Center during the annual Student Employee of the Year Award Ceremony. Gill was recognized in a virtual award ceremony for her contributions and hard work, which can be viewed below.

 


April 12, 2021

Cierra L. Griffin (Social Science B.S. '10, Educational Leadership & Administration Ph.D. student) published a new book titled The College Cheat Sheet: A Guide to College Enrollment for High School Students. Griffin says that she was inspired to write the book because she encountered "high school students who express plans to attend college, but often are not prepared to apply and be competitive for admissions." The book serves as a guide for prospective students—particularly first generation students—interested in being more competitive for college admissions.
