    Impacting education around the world.

My personal penchant for education stems from my experience working at a Saudi university, where I saw great attention devoted to evaluation, policy formation, and research. Currently, the Saudi national education system is undergoing tremendous change and development, and I knew that I wanted to be an active part of that.

It was much more difficult than I had expected to find a graduate program that combines educational policy and evaluation. Fortunately, the distinctive educational program at the FSU College of Education has allowed me to develop my unique, cross-disciplinary interests. Having this combination attracted me to pursue a master’s and a doctoral degree here.

The resources for graduate students here are substantial. Staff and faculty will work with you one-on-one and direct you to internal and external resources. Most importantly, the FSU College of Education faculty and staff are flexible! They have worked with me to meet my unique educational goals while still meeting the program and course requirements.

I see myself actively engaged in the process of upgrading and developing the Saudi educational system.

Thanks to my time here, I am proud that I will be able to contribute to the development of policies that will ensure that Saudi students receive the highest quality educational programs and services.
