Leaders among Leadership: FSU EDA M.S./Ed.S. Program

School leaders are no strangers to dealing with challenges. For years, school leadership has dealt with issues of teacher recruitment, retention, student success, and safety. More recently, they have also had to address important conversations about equity and social justice. These historic and new challenges require a different approach to education and preparation of school leadership.

Hye Ryung Won (Early Childhood Education Ph.D.) received a 2020-2021 Outstanding Teaching Assistant Award from the Program for Instructional Excellence. The annual award recognizes the best graduate student teaching assistants (TAs) for their work and dedication to their students.

The important work conducted by faculty members in the department of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies has far-reaching implications in the fields of higher education, educational leadership, and education policy. These presentations cover topics including but not limited to student enrollment, education reform, equity and inclusion, neurodiversity and more.
