Khyati Verma, counseling psychology and school psychology combined Ph.D. student, was featured in an article from Illinois State University, which she completed her master's thesis. The article explores her work on colorblind racial attitudes and implicit bias. The article looks at her experience conducting her research, which she was forced to reassess due to the COVID-19 pandemic. You can read the full article here.

 


March 9, 2021

Seamus Maher, sport management B.S. student, advanced to the final round of the National Collegiate Sports Sales Championship. He joins seven other students from various schools as they each pitch ticket packages to recruiters, roleplaying as potential buyers. Each student is then scored by a judge based on a rubric. 

 


March 1, 2021

Inika Williams, educational leadership and administration Ed.D. student, was named one of Tallahassee's 25 Women You Need to Know. The annual list created by the Tallahassee Democrat highlights women who make the community a better place. Williams is the Director of Pre-Collegiate Programs at FSU. She also earned her master's and specialist degrees from the career counseling program at the College of Education.
