Alexis Rojas (Counseling/School Psychology Ph.D.) recently had her research highlighted by the American Psychological Association Division 17. Rojas is currently studying prevention efforts conducted by the Tallahassee Pediatric Behavioral health Center through its Behavioral Health Navigation (BHN) program. Rojas presented her project outline during the Florida National Association of Social Workers earlier in June. Read more about her work on the APA spotlight piece.

Michelle Garzon (Sport Management B.S.) traveled to Normandy, France, with the FSU Marching Chiefs to honor the 75th Anniversary of D-Day. Garzon is a FSU Majorette. Also present at the event was Sarah Shepherd (English Education B.S./M.S.), who is studying abroad in England. The FSU Marching Chiefs performed in both Paris and Normandy and were the only college band represented at the event.
