    Sonja Ardoin was named a 2019-2021 ACPA Emerging Scholar. The award recognizes individuals who are early in his or her student affairs career. Ardoin also won the 2019 Socioeconomic and Class Issues in Higher Education KC Outstanding Service to NASPA Award.

    Spencer Scruggs was named the incoming chair of the Coalition for (Dis)Ability with ACPA-College Student Educators International. Scruggs has been a member of the ACPA for more than 4 years and has served in a number of roles, including ambassador, coordinator for scholarships, and vice chair for professional development. Scruggs is currently a Disability Specialist at Florida State University.

    Mike Martin will be featured on the cover of an upcoming issue of Baseball America. The magazine will also include a feature article that spotlights Mike Martin’s career and dives into his final season with the Seminoles. The issue will be out in February.

    Beth NahlikBeth Nahlik received a promotion and became the Assistant Dean of Student Success & Director of Title III at Illinois College. Nahlik has worked at the college since January 2015, formerly as a director at the Center for Academic Excellence.
