  • Dr. Tristen Hyatt is a teaching faculty member and program coordinator for FSU’s Career Counseling program. She earned her Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from Auburn University in 2018 and is a National Certified Counselor. Dr. Hyatt is a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA), National Career Development Association (NCDA), and Association for Counselor Education and Supervision (ACES). She is also on the leadership board for the Columbus, GA board National Alliance for Mental Illness (NAMI).

    Her research interests include decreasing stigma through education, awareness and community engagement; and counselor preparedness and self-efficacy as it relates to working with specific populations (i.e., career counseling, college counseling, and the intersection of mental health and career).
