Dr. Taylor Thompson is the Clinical Director for the FSU Adult Learning Evaluation Center (ALEC). She earned her B.A. in Psychology and English—Creative Writing from Florida State University. She went on to receive her M.A. in Psychology from Wake Forest University and her Ph.D. in the Combined Counseling Psychology and School Psychology Program at Florida State University. She is now a licensed psychologist. Dr. Thompson has been involved in psychoeducational assessment since 2005, and her clinical background has included work with individuals with anxiety, ADHD, learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, mood disorders, and behavioral disorders. Her research interests and projects have focused on the experiences of youth from diverse backgrounds, including Asian American adolescents, gifted and talented children, and college students with disabilities.
