Dr. Dina Vyortkina works as Assistant Dean for Innovation and Instructional Technology Enhancement at the College of Education, Health, and Human Sciences. Her areas of expertise and interests include but are not limited to educational technologies, innovation in higher education, professional development for in-service and pre-service teachers, professional development for educational leaders, embedding instructional technologies into both K-12 and higher education settings, online and blended learning and teaching, active learning spaces, learning materials development, portfolio assessment, and artificial intelligence (AI) in higher education and K-12.

Dr. Vyortkina taught in Kazakhstan and UK. She worked on grant projects related to teacher education and learning materials development in Uzbekistan and Egypt.
