Dr. Brian Foster is an Assistant Teaching Professor in the Department of Educational Psychology and Learning Systems. He serves as Coordinator of the Sport Psychology master's program and is a Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) through the Association for Applied Sport Psychology (AASP). 

Brian earned a Bachelor's of Kinesiology in Mind Sciences from the University of Calgary in 2011, a Master's of Science in Sport and Exercise Psychology from Ball State University in 2013, and a Doctorate of Philosophy in Sport Psychology from Florida State University in 2017. Following the completion of his education he served as an Assistant Professor of Sport Studies at Lock Haven University from 2017-2021. He returned to Florida State University to join the faculty in May 2021.
