Gizem Solmaz, a Ph.D. student in Early Childhood Education, was chosen as the recipient of a 2020 Graduate Student Excellence in Visual Arts Award for her photograph titled "In Limbo" (featured above). She was chosen as the People's Choice award recipient. Her artwork is featured on the Honors, Scholars and Fellows House Excellence in the Visual Arts virtual exhibition gallery.

Mark Duslak, an Ed.D. student in the Educational Leadership & Administration program, was named a co-winner of the Three Minute Thesis competition. As a co-winner, Duslak will receive a $1,000 prize as well as recognition by the FSU Graduate School on this accomplishment. You can watch his presentation here:
