Billy Epting

Billy Epting was named the Florida Association of School Administrators' Principal of the Year. Epting is the principal of Leon High School in Tallahassee. He was given the award during a surprise ceremony, which is available to watch on Facebook here.

Neal Golden

Mathematics Education Ph.D. '77

Dr. Neal Golden published a new book, titled LSU Bowl Games: A Complete History. The book explores all 50 bowl game appearances between 1907 and 2019 and includes overviews of Louisiana State University's football seasons as well as their opponents. The book also includes highlights of the actual bowl games, important stats, and quotes from players and coaches when possible.

Dr. Robert Nichols Stevens published a new book titled School Behavioral Health. The book is published by Springer and describes the interconnected systems framework, which combines the Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) and School Mental Health (SMH).
