Allen Clay Jr. (Higher Education master's student) and Erica Wiborg (Higher Education Ph.D. student) contributed to a paper with Dr. Cameron Beatty titled "COVID-19 in Florida: A Breakdown of Disparities in the Black Population June & July 2020."  The report was funded by the FSU Office of Research and aims to summarize the state of Florida and its response and status of its Black population during the summer months.

Hajeen Choi and Kari Word (Instructional Systems and Learning Technologies Ph.D. students) published an article with Dr. Vanessa Dennen in the Association of Educational Communications and Technology (AECT) titled "Social media, teenagers, and the school context: a scoping review of research in education and related fields." The paper looks at which disciplines between 2009 and 2018 have studied social media use of high school- and college-aged students.

Marcus Nicolas (Educational Leadership & Administration Ed.D. student) has been named the Director of Operations and Administration of the FSU Alumni Association. As Director of Operations and Administration, Nicolas will play an important role in the overall direction of the FSU Alumni Association as well as help with day to day operations.
